At Playhorizon, your privacy is our priority and we are committed to protecting it at all times, in all situations.
Information Collected/Stored
The information we collect about you includes your name, your billing address, your email address, your telephone number and any shipping destinations that you might provide. In addition, we retain information regarding orders that you place, and concerning products that you might have registered with us.
Credit/debit card information that you enter is communicated to SagePay, our merchant services provider, in a secure, encrypted format only. Playhorizon does NOT store any credit/debit card details in our databases.
The password you provide when you set up your user profile is stored in an encrypted format and cannot be read by anyone – not even Playhorizon personnel.
Security of Personal Information
Our website uses a 128-bit encrypted SSL, a recognised means of securing our website and protecting your information from being stolen as you enter and submit it to us and from being retrieved from our databases without authorisation.
Information that is required to be printed for the purpose of fulfilling your orders (that which is not shipped to you with your purchases) remains in our office at all times and is destroyed using a cross-cut shredder when no longer required.
All Playhorizon employees take the security of your personal information very seriously. Access to user personal information is limited to key management personnel and our customer services department. The information is ID and password protected and our online security is reviewed and updated as required.
Third Parties
Credit/debit card information that you enter when placing orders with Playhorizon is communicated in an encrypted format to our Merchant Services Provider, SagePay (www.sagepay.com), a well known and highly respected provider of online transaction processing services. This information is used to authorise and action payment for your purchases only.
On rare occasions (for example when fulfilment capacity at Horizon is saturated) we may send information to third parties for the purposes of fulfilling your orders. However in such situations, only information that is entirely necessary for fulfilling your orders will be communicated, and once your order has been fulfilled, this information will be destroyed/erased (as appropriate).
With the exception of the above, Playhorizon will NOT share your personal data with any third parties for any purpose whatsoever.
Use of Information
Your personal information is used to process your orders, for customer and technical support on products you have purchased from us, and to provide a more personalised experience on our website.
When you visit our site we automatically log your IP address, your browser type and your access times. We utilise this information to conduct site performance evaluations, to see where visitors are coming from, and to keep track of click stream data (the screens our users visit on our site). This data helps us to determine what content our users find most appealing so that we can maximise your enjoyment of the site. Log files are not tied to personally identifiable information and are not shared with third parties.
Communication
If you have opted to receive Product Notifications or our Newsletter, we may, from time to time, send you email messages alerting you that new products are available, to provide you with information regarding products in development, to give you tips on getting the most out of your products, or to inform you of promotional offers. In addition, you will receive communication from us from time to time for administrative purposes.
Correcting/Updating Your Personal Information
Once you have set up your user profile, you may correct/update your personal information by logging in to our website and by clicking on the 'My Account' link at the top of any page. The changes you make will be reflected in our databases instantly.
